A local solar advisor confirms your roof and gives you a firm price. No cost, no obligation.

Lead capture is off in this prototype. It turns on after buyer terms, final consent language, and TrustedForm are in place.
How we estimate

An estimate takes four inputs. It is not a quote: your installer confirms the numbers after a site check.

  1. Your roof. Roof size, direction and sun hours come from Google's Solar API, which measures roofs from aerial imagery. We size the system to cover your electric use, up to what fits on the roof.
  2. Your bill. You tell us your average monthly bill. We turn it into yearly electricity use using your utility's rate per kWh.
  3. Local electricity rates. We use your utility's average price per kWh and its fixed monthly connection fee, and assume rates rise each year.
  4. The lease price. We compare your current bill with a $0-down solar lease. The lease price per kWh and yearly increase are our assumptions until an installer gives you a real offer. The estimate shows its assumptions under "Assumptions behind this estimate."

What can change your number: shade we cannot see, roof condition, your utility's rules for credits on extra solar, and the final lease terms.
